About Us
Welcome to Sew Handpan School NYC, the first Sew Handpan School in the city and USA, where a deep passion for handpan music meet expert instruction. We offer comprehensive classes for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players, in a supportive and inspiring environment throughout all NYC and near area. All lessons feature Sew Handpans exclusively, ensuring that you practice on top-quality instruments. Additionally, we provide a curated selection of handmade Sew handpans from Italy at a special school discount, helping you find the perfect instrument to visit your style and needs. Join us and immers yourself in the captivating world of handpan music!
All levels are welcome! Handpans will be provided. If you have a D Celtic Minor Handpan, feel free to bring it along. Each participant will have a handpan to practice playing. We will learn to play solo, in pairs, and as an ensemble.
All skill levels are welcome!
Instruments are provided for workshops and are available for rent and purchase.
We conduct workshops throughout New York City and its surrounding areas.
Participants may engage in group sessions, gatherings, or individual consultations.

An amazing place to kickstart playing handpan. Friendly atmosphere.Katherine is a professional instructor, warm,supportive and creative.
